Dental Practice Opportunity
I am looking for a dentist who is interested in purchasing my solo general dentistry practice in Costa Mesa, California.
I tend toward being conservative with treatment planning. Our patients historically stay with the practice for a long time which allows us to better assess the progression of observed problems over time and accurately judge their priority and treatment requirements. This is a well-established practice serving over 40 years in the same location. Low overhead has allowed us to be selective in accepting new patients who mostly help the health of the practice and make us want to go to work each day. Conservative treatment planning means that there is a large resource of untapped treatment that comes to fruition constantly. Our office is bordering a residential neighborhood with good visibility and is next to a neighborhood produce store with moderate traffic. Acceptance rate is 90%+ because most patients know that we don't suggest treatment until it is necessary and beneficial.
We work out of two operatories and have one x-ray machine. The x-rays are wet film, but this newer machine is set up for digital radiography as well. Our record-keeping is mostly paper and bookkeeping utilizes a pegboard system. I have been hesitant in transitioning to going completely paperless, waiting for any new owner to choose and implement whichever dental software program he/she prefers.
