Postdoctoral fellowship at University of California, San Francisco is available for a highly motivated individual to join the laboratory of Mark R. Looney, MD in the Department of Medicine, Cardiovascular Research Institute, and the Bakar ImmunoX Initiative at the University of California, San Francisco. Current projects involve innate immunity in the lung in the setting of sterile and pathogen-induced injury, megakaryocyte and platelet biology, and the intravital imaging of lung lymphatics.The applicant will be expected to design and perform experiments, critically analyze data, and assume primary responsibility for writing and publishing the scientific results. Excellent organizational and communication skills are a prerequisite.

Job Requirements:
