About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled scientist to join our multidisciplinary team focused on developing an mRNA vaccine that will revolutionize the livestock industry's impact on climate change. As a scientist in our company, you will play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and testing mRNA-based vaccines that target methane production in cows. Your work will have a direct and positive impact on mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and fostering a more environmentally responsible agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of molecular biologists, bioinformaticians, immunologists, and veterinarians to drive the development of mRNA-based vaccines for cows.
  • Design and execute experiments to develop, optimize, and validate mRNA vaccine constructs aimed at reducing methane emissions from cows' digestive processes.
  • Conduct in vitro and in vivo studies to evaluate vaccine efficacy, safety, and immunogenicity.
  • Analyze and interpret data generated from experiments, and contribute to the development of data-driven insights to guide vaccine design.
  • Stay current with scientific literature and technological advancements in mRNA vaccine technologies and climate change mitigation strategies for livestock.
  • Contribute to the preparation of research publications, patent applications, and regulatory documentation as needed.
  • Collaborate with external partners, academic institutions, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings, present findings, and contribute to the intellectual and scientific growth of the company.
Job Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Veterinary Science, or related fields with a focus on mRNA vaccine development or genetic engineering.
  • Proven experience in designing and optimizing mRNA constructs, gene expression systems, or related technologies.
  • Strong background in molecular biology techniques, cell culture, and immunological assays.
  • Experience with animal models, particularly large animals like cows, is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Prior experience in the biotechnology industry and familiarity with regulatory processes is a plus.
