The 5AM Fellowship opportunity: The 5AM Ventures Fellowship provides an exclusive opportunity to gain experience in both venture creation and venture capital. We commit to supporting the careers of our fellows, and past fellows have successfully transitioned to full-time positions in venture capital, business development, and healthcare consulting.

We are seeking Fellows who can assist the 4:59 and 5AM teams with 1) reviewing new insights in prioritized areas of science to craft an investment thesis, 2) supporting scientific detailed diligence (e.g. research and talking to academics, KOLs), and 3) supporting new company formation activities with a focus on the scientific strategy.

Time commitment will be 20+ hours/week, for 6 months, and a stipend will be provided.

Who Can Apply: • We are seeking Fellows who can work at our Boston or SF offices and are accepting candidates from other US-based locations who could work remotely. Each opportunity will have separate applications, so please select the location most appropriate for your situation. Please do not apply to multiple locations. • The firm is looking for individuals with strong scientific or medical background (MD and/or PhD) e.g., PhD students, MBA students with relevant experience, postdocs and clinical fellows.
