How do I advertise an opportunity to UCSF graduate-level students and postdocs?

To post a position, first register an account with us. Review of account requests take 1-2 business days. Once your registration request is approved, you will be able to login. Once you are logged in, you can create a new posting. Job postings will remain visible for 30 days. You may update, modify, or delete your posting at any time by logging into your account and editing your posting directly. We do not post on behalf of employers, nor will we modify your job listing unless it breaches our stated criteria (see below).

You may also want to review our Creating An Opportunities Post Quick Guide.

What kinds of opportunities or jobs can I post?

The OCPD Opportunities and Job Board accepts the following types of open positions:

  • Internships – paid, and geared toward post-graduate health and life science fields
  • Full-time positions – paid, and geared toward post-graduate health and life science fields
  • Temporary positions – paid, duration of position clearly defined, and geared toward post-graduate health and life science fields

We do not post work-study or physician opportunities.

Why was my account registration rejected?

The OCPD Opportunities and Job Board is specifically tailored to our health and life science students and scholars. UCSF does not have undergraduates in any field of study. If your company/institution/agency does not have a clear affiliation with the health and life sciences fields, your registration may not be accepted. If you have additional questions, please email us at [email protected].

Why was my job deleted?

The OCPD Opportunities and Job Board is specifically tailored to our health and life science students and scholars. UCSF does not have undergraduates in any field of study. If your opportunity is not related to the health and life sciences fields, is unpaid (unless clearly defined as a volunteer position), and/or is geared for undergraduate-level applicants, your posting may be deleted. If you have additional questions, please email us at [email protected].

Recruiters -- you may post up to 5 opportunities or jobs at any one time. We will delete postings that exceed this number by removing the most recent.

Why don’t you post caregiver opportunities?

Our students and scholars seek opportunities related specifically to their sub-field specialties. If you need to fill a caregiver job, we suggest posting with LinkedIn, Indeed, Craigslist, or by reaching out to specific caregiver agencies in your area.
