The Department of Chemistry at the University of San Francisco invites applications for teaching assistants for General Chemistry I Laboratory starting in August 2021, for the Fall 2021 semester. The University serves a diverse group of students on a residential campus near Golden Gate Park.

Duties include attending a weekly session to work through and discuss the upcoming week’s experiment, delivering a short lab lecture at the beginning of lab, leading the lab section, holding office hours, and grading. There would be a meeting before the semester begins to prepare for the course.

Job Requirements: 

Applicants must be PhD candidates or have a PhD in Chemistry or closely-related quantitative scientific field
