Dr. Yang’s lab from the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California San Francisco invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow position. This position will focus on multi-modality fusion for disease diagnosis and prognosis, MR imaging methodology development, and In-line AI model development for clinical applications.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead high-impact publications, with scope for self-directed research, and receive training in machine learning and computer vision, medical image analysis, and clinical application deployment. Based on performance and availability of funding, the appointment is for 2–3 years.
Highly motivated candidate with a recent Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering, physics, computer science, or electrical engineering
- Excellent coding skills in C++ and Python. Skills and ability to quickly prototype in Python are a must.
- Strong hands-on experience with deep learning tools (e.g., PyTorch or TensorFlow-Keras).
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications in machine learning and imaging processing/analysis.
