The successful candidate will work with state-of-the-art 3T and 7T research MRI scanners and magnetoencephalography (MEG), as part of prospective cross-sectional and longitudinal clinical research studies with correlation to genomics and neurocognitive testing. The post-doc will work closely with imaging scientists and engineers, as well as cognitive neuroscientists. The focus of the work will be integrating advanced MR imaging data on patients with neuropsychiatric diseases and / or brain injury as well as control volunteers, including fMRI and diffusion tractography and its clinical applications.
PhD in applicable area of study (for example: neuroscience, bioinformatics, computer science, machine learning, etc) at the discretion of the Principle Investigator, Professor Pratik Mukherjee, MD, PhD. Excellent quantitative problem solving skills utilizing a programming language (for example: python, matlab). Working knowledge of BASH.
