We have an extremely innovative and exciting opportunity for a postdoctoral fellow at UCSFin San Francisco. The applicant will be involved in research related to increasing racial and ethnic diversity in Alzheimer’s disease research, analyzing data from the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI), and validating novel online assessments in the BrainHealthRegistry.org. The Brain Health Registry is an online registry for recruitment, assessment and longitudinal monitoring of cognitive aging with over 70,000 participants.   

  Job Responsibilities    • Quantitative analysis of data including in-clinic and online self- and study partner-report    questionnaires, neuropsychological tests, imaging and biomarker data from a longitudinal,    observational study    • Work with Principal Investigator and Co-investigators to generate hypotheses, plan analyses,    and interpret data.    • Develop innovative ways to use the Internet for assessment of cognitive aging.    • Seek out new funding opportunities and helping to write grants and proposals    • Write manuscripts and abstracts    • Oversee administration of clinical and neuropsychological assessments in older adults    • Monitor clinical and neuropsychological assessment data for accuracy and consistency

Job Requirements: 

   Required Qualifications:    • Doctorate degree or its equivalent    • Research experience, preferably in clinical research    • Data analysis experience    • Biostatistics experience
