Postdoctoral fellow positions are immediately available in the cancer research lab of Rohit Bose MD PhD ( rohitlab.org ) at UCSF.  Preference will be given to applicants who apply directly via the website.  The principal investigator is both an assistant professor and practicing genitourinary medical oncologist at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.  His clinical and lab focus is prostate cancer, although open to related areas of study.  Specifically, the lab focuses on themes of hypermutation in cancer, cancer drug sensitization and oncogene networks (Bose et al, Nature, 2017).

Job Requirements: 

We require candidates who received a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in research.  We strongly desire individuals that are hard-core about science, meticulous in their work, use appropriate experimental controls, genuinely enjoy doing experiments themselves, and are enthusiastic.  A strong background in cell biology, molecular biology, epigenetics or mouse modeling is highly valued.  An ability to code is very useful, but not required.
