A laboratory in the Department of Pathology at the University of California San Francisco seeks to hire a Post-doctoral Scholar to work on an international multi-institutional project focused on gaining insights in the biological events driving progression of chronic inflammation-initiated gastro-intestinal and lung cancers with an emphasis on epithelial interactions.
The applicant is a very independent person with extensive skills in primary cell culture. Documentation of experience in 3D cultures, in particular Air-Liquid interface and/or microfluidic organoid models, is required. Cell biology (immunocyto/histochemistry, western blotting) and molecular biology (polymerase chain reaction? skills as well as experience with inflammation-associated models would also constitute big assets
