Responsibilities

• As Senior Software Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for developing the next-generation GUI for instrument control and subsequent data analysis.
• This position will work closely with Engineering and Product Management to deliver an intuitive workflow specific GUI for researchers to acquire, visualize and analyze their datasets.
• In addition, this role will develop a user interface for a separate desktop platform for data analysis.

Role:

• Create software interface for control of our next generation instruments
• Work with system engineers and scientists to design a graphical user interface for acquisition and analysis workflows taking concepts to finish product.
• Work with software analytics engineers to provide a user interface to incorporate analytics and visualization features in an intuitive manner.
• Work with back-end software engineers to develop and implement new system features and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML
• Experience developing browser-based software for instrument control
• Experience using Electron, Angular or similar frameworks for building desktop applications
• BS or MS in Computer Science (MS preferred) BS with 7 years or MS with 5 years of experience delivering commercial product.
