Evercrisp Biosciences is applying advanced computational methods and protein engineering to deliver novel enzymes with high cell permeability and editing efficiency. We are seeking highly motivated and energetic scientists to join a dynamic and well-funded research organization. We have multiple opening in protein engineering and genome editing technologies. Evercrisp Biosciences offers a highly competitive compensation, equity, and benefits package.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work in concert with computational modeling team to design and assess protein constructs through rational design and library approaches for improved therapeutic delivery.
  • Analyze datasets to discover structure/sequence-function-relationships and leverage learnings to inform iterative protein design.
  • Support preparation of designed constructs through various molecular biology techniques, protein production, and protein characterization.
Job Requirements:
  • PhD with at least 2-years of experience in protein production, rational design methods, and an understanding of protein chemistry.
  • Experience with multiple protein expression systems including E. coli and mammalian.
  • Skill in the expression and purification of challenging proteins.
  • Experience with protein purification technologies (FPLC, etc.) and protein characterization techniques such as SDS-PAGE gels and analytical SEC.
  • Understanding of protein properties, sequence analysis, and modification.
  • Experience with high-throughput protein expression and purification is preferred.
  • Attention to detail with rigorous scientific thinking and clear communication supported by appropriate documentation.
