Our immunology research team is seeking an experienced, diligent, and motivated Scientist/Senior Scientist to join our growing team. A successful candidate will perform target validation work for multiple pipeline programs. The candidate will also be responsible for screening and characterizing novel, antibody-based immunotherapies and will be able to lead teams. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn about multiple aspects of drug development and will be encouraged and provided with the necessary resources to achieve company and professional goals. Responsibilities
- Hands-on laboratory bench work (~75%) as well as managing collaboration research activities with external partners
- Design and execute in-vitro, ex-vivo, and in-vivo studies to validate target concepts and develop therapeutics
- Manage timelines and deliverables in alignment with project timelines and goals
- Develop and implement novel assays or techniques to enable interrogation of target biology in the pathophysiology of the human immune system
- Evaluate and validate novel targets and therapeutic concepts
- Contribute to scientific reports, share results and skills with team, and present data to management and external advisers
- Positive interpersonal skills with the ability to interact efficiently with individuals from a variety of functional levels

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- PhD in Immunology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline and 1 to 5 years of postdoctoral research experience and/or industry experience
- A deep knowledge of human immunology, and a basic understanding of therapeutic antibody discovery
- Expertise in autoimmunity, inflammation, or immuno-oncology model systems documented by publication in high-impact journals
- Expertise in standard immunology assays and techniques (e.g., high dimensional flow cytometry, single cell RNA sequencing, etc.)
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal)
