The Gladstone Flow Cytometry Core is seeking a full-time Research Technologist. The Core is a state-of-the-art facility, servicing Gladstone, UCSF and biotech researchers in all aspects of flow cytometric theoretical and practical experimental design. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day instrument calibration, sample acquisition and/or sorting, data analysis, data management and backup, basic laboratory duties, routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and experiments. The candidate will be involved in training and assisting researchers with the design, execution, and interpretation of flow cytometry results. There is also opportunity to be involved in flow cytometry-related research projects. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity for career progression.

- B.S. or M.S. in biological sciences is required with 1 years of prior flow cytometry experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid organization capabilities and good interpersonal communication skills are essential.
- Some light lifting and the ability to safely handle potentially biohazardous materials is required.
