Brief Description of SyntheX

SyntheX is using synthetic biology and genetic engineering to discover first in class therapeutics to modulate protein interactions. We’ve built two platforms based on our proprietary selection technology, ToRPPIDO and ToRNeDO, to address key outstanding problems in drug discovery. ToRPPIDO allows us to efficiently discover compounds that can disrupt specific protein-protein interactions (PPIs) within cells. ToRNeDO enables the inverse and allows us to discover molecular glues that bring two proteins together – more specifically, an E3 ubiquitin ligase of our choice and a neosubstrate of interest, to enable targeted protein degradation.

Our current focus is on oncology, where we've generated a differentiated pre-clinical pipeline exploiting unique mechanisms of action uncovered by our platforms.

We are a fast growing startup located in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco. Additional information can be found on www.synthexlabs.com. Submit CV and cover letter to [email protected].
