The Consultant provides psychiatric services, working closely with multidisciplinary program staff supporting young adults to function optimally in community settings. The Consultant provides medication support services and diagnostic consultation, attends treatment reviews, prescribes psychotropic medication, and documents all services provided. Along with the rest of the team, the Consultant is active in supporting and implementing recovery/resilience philosophy and an individualized, family-focused, strengths-based, culturally responsive, participant-centered approach. The Consultant may offer clinical consultation for two Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners.
