Process Control Systems Engineer Intern 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, (Intern PCS Eng), are to:

• Perform daily check of assigned systems;
• Revise control system documentation (specifications, drawings, etc.);
• Develop control system software modules;
• Operate system backups;
• Test control system software modules informally;
• Perform formal commissioning and validation test of software modules;
• Write and obtain approval of commissioning test reports.

Required qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a four-year bachelor undergraduate program with a preferred focus in Engineering or Computer Science;
• No previous experience is required;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to deal professionally with internal customers of various organizational levels;
• Work effectively within a departmental team and with members of the same or higher organizational levels;
• Good organization, documentation, prioritization and scheduling skills including an overall desire to learn;
• Basic problem solving and project management abilities together with a professional image;
• Ability to work independently and multi task;
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and beginner level proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Demonstrate technical proficiency, independent thought, scientific creativity, and collaboration with others.
