A postdoctoral position for a self-motivated and dedicated scientist is available in Dr. Zhang’s laboratory at the University of California, San Francisco. The postdoctoral scientist will be participating in a research project investigating dental epithelial cells and gingival sulcus’s epithelial immunity. The primary role of this scientist entails evaluating and enhancing highly efficient therapeutic strategies aimed at addressing periodontal infections. The project necessitates a fundamental understanding of cell biology, molecular biology, histology, and microbiology. Previous experience in mineralized tissue research and microbiology is essential. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with other UCSF laboratories, gaining experience in utilizing AI technology to assess and enhance the effectiveness of small molecules aimed at targeting periodontal infections. We invite applications from individuals who exhibit a positive, optimistic outlook and thrive in collaborative environments.
