A postdoctoral scholar position in the Huang Laboratory focuses on dissecting hippocampal circuits of learning and memory using in vivo electrophysiological approaches. In vivo network activity is used to measure and predict Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis at the molecular, cellular, and behavioral level. Furthermore, in vivo network activity is used to develop and evaluate novel treatment strategies. This characterization is further assessed in comparison to in vitro electrophysiological phenotypes.
