The Feldman lab (https://feldmanlab.ucsf.edu/) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is looking for a talented postdoc to join our growing NIH funded laboratory. The overall goal of our research is to understand on both molecular and systemic levels how hormones regulate stem cell fate decisions. We use molecular biology, biochemistry, tissue culture and mouse models to elucidate the relevant pathways regulated by hormones in cell fate decisions. Our primary objective is to understand the relationship between the endocrine influence on stem cell fate and physiology and pathophysiology found in humans. Currently, we have projects focused on adipose and muscle tissues.
Experience with molecular biology required. Experience with mouse handeling, FACS and bioinformatics desired.
