The UCSF Little Lab (https://littlelab.ucsf.edu/) is seeking a talented postdoctoral scholar to help understand the neurophysiology of motivation and dopamine in patients with Parkinson's disease using intracranial brain recordings.

The lab presents here an exciting opportunity to work with next generation technology that can record and stream intracranial cortical and basal ganglia neurophysiology from people with Parkinson's disease. This will be combined with cutting edge computational and behavioral approaches plus experimental techniques and causal interventions including dopamine modulation and closed-loop deep brain stimulation.

The post doctoral scholar will have responsibilities for intracranial neural recordings, data analyses, computational modelling, write up and presentation. Recording techniques will include sensing-enabled Deep Brain Stimulator devices, electroencephalography, electrocorticography and closed loop stimulation techniques.

Cognitive neuroscience, signals analysis, machine learning, statistical methods will be particularly useful.
