POSITION SUMMARY
A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Shiying Jin, at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, Novato CA.
The Jin lab research focuses on ovarian biology and uterine stem cells. We are interested in how the quiescent primordial follicles are activated, and how stem cells maintain uterine homeostasis and regeneration (reference: Jin SY, Bipotent stem cells support the cyclical regeneration of endometrial epithelium of the murine uterus. PNAS, 2019). Experimental approaches, including genetic mouse models, in vitro organ culture, tissue transplantation, live-imaging, single-cell lineage tracing, RNA-sequencing and proteomics are used in our research.
