The Wang Laboratory at UCSF (https://doriswanglab.ucsf.edu) is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral research fellows to lead human neurophysiology studies examining the neural network involved with motor learning in patients with movement disorders. The research involves using cutting edge technology to record and modulate human neural activities in real time to eventually discover new therapies to improve motor learning. This study is multidisciplinary in nature and will involve computational neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, and potential software engineering/development. The candidate will work with not only patients, but also clinicians and scientists across different specialities.

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. and/or M.D. A background in computational neuroscience research is preferred. Experience with Matlab and/or computer programming are highly desirable. Candidates also much work well in teams with good interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and writing skills are essential. Fluency in English required.
