The Southern California Food Allergy Institute (SCFAI) is a cutting-edge research and clinical care center that is revolutionizing food allergy treatment through its use of big data and technology to offer customized therapeutic treatment. We offer the one-of-a-kind Tolerance Induction Program™, an individualized treatment program designed to help children with food allergies achieve true “Food Freedom”- the ability to eat whatever they want, whenever they want, without fear of reaction. SCFAI has successfully treated thousands of patients to true “Food Freedom” from all over the world and is rapidly growing to meet the needs of our expanding enrollment waitlist.

 

We are currently seeking to hire a full time Physician Assistant. The success of SCFAI is built on years of development involving proprietary biomarkers, data analytics and modeling systems which allow unique patient specific therapy to be deployed in the clinic setting and at home safely. SCFAI currently employs over 100 employees, including multiple physicians in the specialties of pediatrics, pulmonary, allergy, emergency medicine, and immunology, as well as nurse practitioners and physicians assistants, and a PhD level research team. In the food allergy world, the growth of SCFAI is unique and remarkable reflecting the effectiveness of its treatment approach and the supportive environment fostered by its team of professionals. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understand the patient lifecycle in totality and how the clinic supports that mission.
  • Communicate effectively to patients, families, visitors, and leadership
  • Management of all assigned care coordination in line with patient care
  • Proper and complete challenge documentation in the patient's chart
Job Requirements: 
  • Graduate of an accredited PA Program.
  • Current PAB Licensure.
  • Maintain current national certification from approved organizations.
  • Current BCLS card.
  • Current PALS card.
  • National Provider Identification Number (NPI).
  • Applicable procedure training MS Office Suite EMR experience Customer service
  • Team mentality and positive working attitude
