Work as part of a software team that develops and supports systems involved in manufacturing world-class molecular diagnostic products. You will be evaluating different approaches for classifying images associated with the manufacturing process. Approaches that may be considered include convolutional neural networks and support vector machines.

The project will entail model evaluation and refinement. The work will include finding ways to improve the training data. The project may involve software and processes surrounding model development such as data acquisition, image preprocessing, integration with other software, validation, and deployment.

As an Intern, you will apply your function coursework to a variety of focused hands-on projects. At the same time, you will gain and apply knowledge about Agilent's industry, infrastructure, and products in your assignment.
