Position Definition:

Our program focuses on novel pharmacological and cognitive interventions that may allow for improvements in social functioning and overall quality of life for patients with mental illness. Interventions of interest include oxytocin, psilocybin, MDMA, and remote, app-based therapy methods. This part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) will involve assisting the Principal Investigator with administrative duties, office organization, scheduling, monitoring supplies, miscellaneous lab needs, and efforts related to preliminary data collection, under the combined supervision of a postdoctoral research fellow and the Principal Investigator. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain clinical research exposure and apply for graduate education in medical and/or health sciences. Previous experience in a research setting is helpful, but not required.

Essential Functions:

• Assist Pl and staff with scheduling and organizational needs.
• Assist PI and staff with routine laboratory upkeep.
• Assist senior staff with collection of preliminary data, including piloting protocols, study day procedures, and pilot study visits.
• Assist senior staff with recruitment of pilot subjects and guiding subjects through study protocol.
• Assist senior staff with managing and organizing relevant database.
