Wellness Equity Alliance is a public health organization and trusted partner in delivering high-impact, equity-driven healthcare solutions to historically marginalized communities. We are transforming health care with a multi-modal, multi-disciplinary model that reaches people where they are—on the streets, in jails, and in underserved neighborhoods. We are dedicated to mitigating healthcare disparities by addressing the SDoH that affect underrepresented communities, including people experiencing homelessness, Indigenous, immigrant, rural, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and justice-impacted groups. In addition to our medical teams, we are also providing a broad range of technical assistance services powered by a deep bench of seasoned professionals with hands-on expertise in clinical care, behavioral health, public health, and systems transformation.

•Remote Practicum: Engagement spans multiple U.S. locations.

•On-Site Options: Interns based in Southern California may opt for in-person experiences in South Los Angeles, Riverside or San Bernardino counties. Interns based in New Mexico, may opt for in person experiences in Albuquerque.

•Extended Reach: Opportunities include projects in New Mexico, Southern California, Texas and international initiatives.
