About the Role and Potrero Physical Therapy:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist at Potrero PT, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with patients, providing individualized treatment plans and hands-on care. Our clinic focuses on fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where therapists have the autonomy to develop personalized treatment strategies tailored to each patient's unique needs. We bring first-hand sports experience to our patients and we see a variety of acute / post op patients as well as chronic conditions. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, focusing on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and communicate effectively with patients and their healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.

Job Requirements: 

 

  • Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Spanish or other multilingual abilities preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Dedication to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
