La Cheim School is a small Non-Public School (NPS), that provides the educational and mental health programs for those children in need. We have an opening for a full-time MFT /ASW Associate at our Concord School Site. We need a confident license eligible intern to assist students in addressing mental health symptoms so that they are able to benefit from their education.

Position: Mental Health Classroom Team associate for a year-round non-public school working with students with learning, behavioral, and emotional disabilities.

Responsibilities: • Working with a Licensed Mental Health Professional to provide therapy for school based children doing individual and group therapy; • Manage case load with some interfacing with the County Agencies; • Maintain required written documentation (MH notes) and reports in a timely manner; • Supervision towards Licensure is provided.

Compensation: • Intern Rate Depending on Experience

Education: • Master's Degree • Must have valid California MFT or LCSW Associate registration and be in good standing

Requirements/Qualifications: • Clear FBI and DOJ Live Scan Clearance and TB Test Required • Valid California Driver's License • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience working with adolescents a plus • Ability to write and implement Behavior Treatment Plan • Ability to effectively document provided services • Ability to work in a fast paced environment • Must be a team player
