The Opportunities

We’re hiring for our Customer Care Team, which includes Orthodontic Assistants, Customer Care Specialists, and Customer Support. The #1 focus for all positions is delivering an AMAZING customer experience to our patients in every interaction! No dental or orthodontic experience is required for any of these positions, as we’ll train you! What matters more to us is that you’re caring and empathetic and understand how important our customers are.

Orthodontic Assistants

You’ll partner with our doctors to create amazing experiences for our patients by making sure appointments run seamlessly at all times. Other duties include:

  • Be the clinical expert in the room - clearly articulate treatment plans and goals to the patient and doctor (we will train you on this)!
  • Manage the appointment flow and ensure a seamless experience throughout (e.g., prepping composite, setting up instruments, managing doctor’s time). 

Customer Care Specialists

You’re the first person who greets patients at our clinic. A warm smile and firm handshake is required! Responsibilities include:

  • Onboard new patients about the company, our products and services, and answer any questions that come up.
  • You’ll make sure that patients have the information they need about their treatment to make a decision. This is a sales position and your compensation in part is driven by how many sales you make, but we are not about the hard sell. We want to make sure that patients make an informed decision. No sales experience required -- we’ll train you on the Uniform customer approach!
  • Learn how to use the latest technology in healthcare to take intraoral scans and 3D x-rays and record clinical plans in our cutting-edge medical record system.
  • Pitch in with other business needs as they come up, including community outreach and local marketing.

 Customer Support Specialists

You’re the go-to person when a patient has a question. Listening, problem-solving, and having a cool head are key components of the job. You’ll also be doing the following:

  • Respond to patients through our app, phone calls, instant messages, and emails. You may be answering questions on treatment plans, explaining how our process works, and booking appointments.
  • Collaborate with our clinical and manufacturing teams to ensure all aspects of the patient experience are phenomenal!
  • Guide the communication and billing processes with our insurance partners.
  • Reach out to potential patients who are interested in learning more about Uniform Teeth.
  • Learn how to use the latest technology in healthcare to take intraoral scans and 3D x-rays and record clinical plans in our cutting-edge medical record system.

  • Love of helping people and interest in nerding out! It’s ok if you aren’t an expert on orthodontic treatment (yet) but you’ve got to want to learn how it works!

Compensation, Benefits, and Perks

  • $18-$22/hour, based on experience (Customer Care Specialists receive additional bonus compensation based on sales)
