Technical Requirements: Biologist/Scientist • Perform a wide variety of complex experimental procedures involving different formats of bispecific antibodies, techniques including the use of Pymol or UCSF ChimeraX, mutagenesis of antibody sequences, cell culture, recombinant protein production and assessment of protein stability using biochemical assays, including molecular cloning and PCR, and working with yeast surface display of antibodies. • Perform upkeep and routine maintenance for project, maintain laboratory supplies and equipment including chemicals, biological materials, etc., required to handle biological materials, recombinant protein materials, acids, biological wastes, etc., maintain work bench and equipment related to projects. • Catalog and label laboratory samples and consumables. • Provide assistance with maintaining and organizing inventory of samples and metadata, and with managing inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents. Liaise with vendors as needed. • Maintain detailed records of experiments, results and prepare the information resulting from these experiments for presentations at laboratory-wide meetings and for publication. • Write reports of findings, state methods and procedures, include any modifications employed, specimens and materials involved and results of experiments. Maintain laboratory records. Interpret, evaluate, and discuss the results of each experiment with the Federal Task Leader as part of the planning process for subsequent studies. • Operate and communicate effectively in a group, team-oriented working environment. Work with and support others in a collegial, open, respectful, and interactive working manner. Work collaboratively with others in the lab to generate data for publications.

Job Requirements: 

Specific Qualifications: • Ph.D. in a relevant field, with a major immunology or biochemistry component. • Minimum of four years of laboratory experience is required. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), databases, accurate data entry, and report generation. • Concise, clear and professional verbal and written communication. • Demonstrated skills in organization, problem solving, resourcefulness and flexibility. • Demonstrated ability in conducting high-quality experiments, including dexterity in pipetting
